Kids Need A Melody was founded in 2009 by Lizzie Bicknell and Jeremy Zmuda.

Lizzie, the founder and director of the CHS Early Intervention Program in NYC , implemented therapy programs within the shelter system and worked closely with families in need.  Lizzie also writes music lyrics based on therapeutic approaches for the band Jeremy Plays Guitar and develops curriculums in conjunction with the NYC Board of Education.

Jeremy works with young children as an early childhood music specialist.  His experience as The Director of Music for early childhood learning centers, as well as an acting consultant for Sesame Street,  has given him a special approach to music for young children.  Jeremy is also the frontman and writer for the popular children’s band Jeremy Plays Guitar.
